Coffee Chat: Freedom of Access Act

Join us for this informative workshop with Brenda Kielty, Maine's Public Access Ombudsman. Brenda is responsible for providing educational materials about the Freedom of Access Act in Maine, as well as preparing advisory opinions and working closely with the Right to Know Advisory Committee in monitoring new developments and considering improvements to the law. 

Brenda will explain the difference between open meetings and open records, what things are public record, how people should make requests, and what you can do to be prepared.
