Democracy Maine and the League of Women Voters of Maine have prepared a presentation to help citizens get more involved with local government. This Coffee Chat will preview that presentation and inform participants of various ways that they can step into local government as well as participate long term. Volunteer positions, elected office, appointed positions and more provide routes to greater participation among the citizenry. Join us on March 13 for this Zoom presentation. We are activating a group of volunteers statewide who will be available for in-person presentations this summer and fall.

The Coffee Chat Series is an MLA Membership benefit. Registration is open to all members, and the event Zoom link will be provided in your registration confirmation email. This event will not be recorded.
